Mark Rober

Where I'd start

• Backyard Squirrelympics 3.0- The Summer GamesAfter two years of losing to squirrels with obstacle courses, Mark has them compete against each other in seven events, narrated like a sports broadcast with backstories for each squirrel. Key ideas: every event is a small test of animal behavior (greed loses the trapdoor, fear beats calculation on the balance beam), squirrels land safely from any height by spreading out like a parachute, and a whole project can be reframed after repeated failure.
